WHAT: ‘As They Made Us’ is a comedy-drama released in 2023 starring Dustin Hoffman and Candice Bergman. Abigail is juggling the needs of her family, with the demands of her parents. With her mother constantly complaining and her father’s health deteriorating, Abigail is on call 24/7. She hopes to find some relief by hiring a carer. Abigail must broker peace between her dysfunctional family, before it’s too late. An enjoyable movie but does have strong coarse language in parts.
