
Falls Prevention Exercise: Consists of forty-five minutes of both seated and standing gentle exercise and stretching to strengthen muscles, improve balance and mobility aimed towards preventing falls. Followed by ten minutes of relaxation meditation aimed to relax the body, destress the mind and improve sleep and wellbeing. Once feeling relaxed and rejuvenated we enjoy a lovely morning tea and a chat. Clients are encouraged to work out to their own abilities and to the level they are comfortable with. It is a fun and supportive group setting focused on improving mobility and preventing falls.
