TransCare offers a bus service to members of the public in the Muswellbrook Shire Council and Upper Hunter Shire Council areas from Monday to Friday.

Our services include routes from Merriwa to Scone via Muswellbrook and return on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. A daily run from Scone to Muswellbrook and return, and a  Wednesday and Thursday service from Murrurundi to Muswellbrook via Scone. On the first and third Tuesday of each month we provide a service to Tamworth which offers users a 4 hour window during which they can attend an appointment, catch up with friends or do some shopping.

Funded by the NSW Government, the Community Transport Program (CTP) aims to promote social inclusion and assistance for people under the age of 65 years to have access to goods and services required to maintain healthy daily living. This includes shopping, medical or health services, social interaction and access to other services. CTP is also used to help provide connections to public transport services. If you are in a position where you have limited or no access to transport then this service can help you.

Social Trips

Social trips are provided on an ad hoc basis with some great events, attractions and destinations. Our social trips have attended Mudgee Small Farms Field Days, Broke Village Fair, Whale Watching Cruises in Newcastle, and visits to Singleton and other great day trips.
