Wellness and Reablement Program – Home Preparation and Bushfire Awareness
An interactive and informative workshop providing education about the risks and hazards of fire in the yard and around (outside) the home (e.g. stacked firewood and garden mulch placed away from the house). The workshop also covers the importance of bush fire survival plans for the elderly to get out safely, practical demonstration, and attendee participation in fire safety skills.
